Tears are clotted in the fists of Pain
Denied is my longing to sing of joy
Wishing for an end to loneliness
Enduring year after year, he gets drunk
Perhaps Drugged, You Pass Out At A Bar
A Pleasant Dream of a grassy meadow
in summer sunshine with you, is ripped ajar
when you awaken abruptly, in a bar
not safe and sleeping in your little warm bed
never wanting to leave home again
One feels impossibly small in this identity
As though forgotten by all the world and time
As A Nobody, One Can Enjoy A Pleasant Life!
